Army Navy Bowl

ARMY NAVY BOWL

  • 2 oz. / 60 ml. dry gin

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. overproof Jamaican rum

  • 1½ oz. / 45 ml. fresh orange juice

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. fresh lemon juice

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. orgeat

  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / shake with ice until chilled / strain over crushed or pebble ice / garnish with fresh mint bouquet after slapping to express oils

This cocktail was created by Frederic Yarm (@fredericyarm) as a hybrid between the classic Army & Navy and the tiki Scorpion Bowl. You rarely see cocktails with orange juice because it often falls flat, but this is an excellent example of how it can be used wonderfully. Cheers y’all!
