A SCOTSMAN IN PARADISE
2 oz. / 60 ml. blended Scotch whisky
¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. banana liqueur
¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. fresh lime juice
¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. pineapple juice
½ oz. / 15 ml. coconut cream
1 tsp. / 5 ml. allspice dram
nutmeg to garnish
METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / shake with ice until chilled / strain into a glass over crushed or pebble ice / garnish with freshly grated nutmeg

This cocktail was created in 2015 by Scott Diaz (@scottbarfly) of Seattle, WA. The name sums it up perfectly. This drink takes smoky Scotch out of its usual lane and drops it straight into tiki territory. Banana and pineapple bring the tropics, coconut cream adds richness, and the aromatics of the fresh nutmeg take it home. It’s like finding palm trees in the Highlands. Cheers y’all!
