PICKLE ME SOFTLY

  • 1½ oz. / 45 ml. dry gin

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. dry vermouth

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. fresh lime juice

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. simple syrup

  • 2 dill sprigs

  • pinch of salt

  • garnish with kalamata olive

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / shake with ice until chilled / fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora / garnish with a kalamata olive (or three)

ABOUT
This cocktail was created by Jean-Félix Desfossés (@jfdesfosses). It is herbal, bright, and refreshing at the same time. The dill, olive, and pinch of salt bring out a savory, briny edge that makes this drink stand out. I could easily drink three of these. Cheers y'all!
