THE LAST LAUGH

• ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. gin

• ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. Green Chartreuse

• ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. maraschino liqueur

• ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. fresh lime juice

• 1–2 oz. / 30–60 ml. cava to top

METHOD
add all ingredients except cava to shaker tin / shake with ice until chilled / fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora / top with cava / garnish with lime twist or maraschino cherry

ABOUT
This Last Word riff was created by Abigail Gullo at Compère Lapin in New Orleans. The build is exactly same as a Last Word, but it is finished off with some sparkling wine. The bubbles from the cava tickle your nose, giving the cocktail its name. Cheers y’all!
