Wray’s Nephew

WRAY’S NEPHEW

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. white overproof Jamaican rum

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. aged rum

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. pineapple juice

  • ¼ oz. / 7.5 ml. fresh lime juice

  • ¼ oz. / 7.5 ml. rich simple syrup

  • 1 tsp. / 5 ml. Fernet Branca

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / add ice and shake until chilled / strain into a chilled coupe or Nick and Nora / garnish with lime twist (optional)

ABOUT
This daiquiri-style cocktail was created by Sean Hoard (@seanfromportland) at Teardrop Lounge in Portland, OR. It’s named for the Wray & Nephew rum, though any white overproof Jamaican rum will work. Pineapple juice and lime keep it bright, while Fernet Branca adds a subtle herbal bite. Cheers y’all!
