ACROSS THE PACIFIC

• 1 oz. / 30 ml. aged Jamaican rum

• ½ oz. / 15 ml. overproof Jamaican rum

• ½ oz. / 15 ml. (coconut fat washed) Averna

• ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. fresh lime juice

• ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. orgeat

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / add a small amount of crushed ice and shake until chilled / dirty dump into glass / top with crushed or pebble ice / garnish with mint bouquet after slapping it to express oils

This cocktail was created by Meaghan Dorman. It is a nice twist on a Mai Tai with the addition of an amaro. This recipe was modified by @catsdontdrinkcocktails who decided to wash Averna with the coconut oil. This adds an extra layer of flavor and mouthfeel. Cheers y’all!
