AEROPLANE OVER THE SEA

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. bourbon

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. Amaro di Angostura

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. crème de pamplemousse

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. fresh lime juice

  • 1 dash Angostura bitters

  • 1 dash grapefruit bitters

  • 3 drops saline solution

METHOD

add all ingredients to shaker tin / shake with ice until chilled / fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora / garnish with a lime twist (optional)

This cocktail was created by Braden Lilley (@bradenlilley) of 353 Troy (Troy, NY) as a playful riff on the Paper Plane. The amaro leads with a wave of baking spice, followed by a bright, lingering grapefruit finish. Cheers y’all!
