1½ oz. / 45 ml. tequila blanco
¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. Bénédictine
¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. fresh lime juice
½ oz. / 15 ml. fresh orange juice
1 tsp. / 5 ml. rich demerara syrup
1 fresh egg white
orange peel oil
METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / shake without ice (“dry shake”) / add ice / shake until chilled / strain into coupe / express orange peel oils over the surface / garnish with orange twist

This cocktail was created by Brett Adams and Jacob Grier, featured in their book Raising The Bar. It’s a reworking of their gin-based Jubilant, swapping in tequila blanco and lime for a brighter, more agave-driven profile. Bénédictine adds subtle herbal complexity, fresh orange and lime juice bring balanced acidity, and a touch of rich demerara syrup rounds out the flavors.
