FELT LIKE FOREVER

  • 1½ oz. / 45 ml. pineapple distillate (Banhez)

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. Averna

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. coffee liqueur

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. espresso

  • ¼ oz. / 7.5 ml. demerara syrup

  • 5 drops saline solution

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / shake with ice until chilled / fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora / garnish with a pineapple frond

ABOUT
This one is an original of mine. I love any time I can combine pineapple and coffee. The process of making the pineapple distillate captures the essence of a pineapple in peak season, with all its succulent, bright, and juicy notes, but without the sweetness. Averna adds that bittersweet, herbal layer that ties it all together, and a touch of salt makes every flavor pop. Cheers y’all!
