TETON TANYA

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. rye whiskey

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. Aperol

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. Cynar

  • Becherovka mist

  • orange peel oil

METHOD
add all ingredients to mixing glass / stir with ice until chilled / strain into rocks glass over a BFC / mist Becherovka over surface / express orange peel oils over surface / garnish with orange twist

ABOUT
Back in 2019, Collin Nicholas (@uncommoncocktails) put this one together at G-Love in Portland, OR. He took inspiration from the Boulevardier, but swapped things around to let Aperol’s bright bitterness play against Cynar’s dark, earthy spice. The backbone is rye, and the whole thing gets lifted with a mist of the herbal Czech liqueur, Becherovka, that adds this warm, baking spice aroma. Cheers y’all!
