OVERPOWERED BY FUNK

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. overproof Jamaican rum (Smith and Cross)

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. cachaça

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. Cynar

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. banana liqueur

  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters

METHOD
add all ingredients to mixing glass / stir with ice until chilled / strain into a glass over a clear BFC / garnish with a orange twist (optional)

ABOUT
This cocktail was created by Frederic Yarm (@fredericyarm) as a tribute to The Clash. The combo of funky Jamaican rum and cachaça will always get my attention. The touch of bitter Cynar and banana liqueur work well here as they complement and balance one another. Cheers y’all!
