SEA LEGS

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. mezcal

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. Islay scotch

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. fresh lime juice

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. orgeat

  • 2 dashes celery bitters

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / add ice and shake until chilled / strain into coupe or Nick and Nora / garnish with a lime wheel (optional) or with a dash of bitters

ABOUT
This daiquiri-like drink was created in 2019 by Alejandro Olivares at Under Current (Salt Lake City, UT). It is smoky from the split base, with a lot of tiki influence. Olivares describes it as, “a nautical feel without the kitsch." Sadly, he lost his fight with cancer late that year. Shake one up for him. Cheers y’all!
