Spice Cream Soda

SPICE CREAM SODA

  • 1½ oz. / 45 ml. aged rum

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. Licor 43

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. fresh lime juice

  • ¼ oz. / 7.5 ml. cinnamon syrup

  • 3 oz. / 90 ml. tonic water, to top

  • nutmeg to garnish

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin except tonic water / add ice and shake until chilled / fine strain into a chilled glass over ice spear / top with tonic water / garnish with fresh nutmeg and orange twist

ABOUT
I made this for those moments when you want something refreshing but still layered / cozy. It’s my riff on a Boozy Cream Soda that Jordan Hughes (@highproofpreacher) shared. Aged rum and Licor 43 bring warmth and vanilla, lime juice keeps it sharp, and a touch of cinnamon syrup ties it all together. Cheers y’all!
